This hole saw mandrel is made by Desco Tools, you assurance quality of hole saw mandrel. Its feature shatterproof, for 1 1/4" to 6" hole saws. This hole saw mandrel has a 7/16 inch hex shank for greater gripping capability in the 1/2" chuck. The backing plate is equipped with spring loaded snap pins which lock into holes on the backing plate of the hole saw for positive efficient transmission of torque.
