These are known as the Silver and Deming drill bits because they are the LARGE sizes! This set goes from 9/16" to 1". You get eight different drill bits. The sizes are: 9/16", 5/8", 11/16", 3/4", 13/16", 7/8", 15/16" and the 1". Each drill bit has the 1/2" cut-down shank, so they can be used in any 1/2" chuck. These bits are made from black nitrite high speed steel. The entire set comes in a wood case where each bit has its own place. They are excellent for drilling large diameter holes in steel and other hard metals.
